USB Type-C Comprehensive Tester Application Scenarios

The USB Type-C comprehensive tester covers all the functions required for the testing of the product. The internal switching signal access of the instrument enables the automatic positive and negative insertion test, so that the required function test can be completed by a one-time insertion, avoiding the risks of USB Type-C interface physical wear, scratches, damage and others due to multiple plugging and unplugging processes on DUT (Device Under Test).

1. Overview

The USB Type-C comprehensive tester covers all the functions required for the testing of the product. The internal switching signal access of the instrument enables the automatic positive and negative insertion test so that the required function test can be completed by a one-time insertion, avoiding the risks of USB Type-C interface physical wear, scratches, damage, and others due to multiple plugging and unplugging processes on DUT (Device Under Test). The instructions are highly integrated and can be used for the secondary integrated development of custom software systems. The tester also replaces the existing test stations and integrates all testing into one automatic test, which greatly increases the test efficiency.

Requirements:

The charging protocol used by some mobile phones is super flash charge, non-PD charging, and discharging. Thus, charging-related tests are not performed.

Headphone Related Tests:

   (a) Test when the headset is plugged in

   (b) Test the headphone button hangs up operation; hang up time can be set 0.1 s~1 s

   (c) Test when the headset is unplugged and suspended

   (d) Test when the headset is in the reverse plug-in state
